DESCRIPTION:World Vision is partnering with UN agencies\, the World Bank\, and the local government to coordinate the response to COVID-19 in Senegal. In addition to training district health managers on COVID-19 prevention and management\, we are producing a guide for community health workers to be distributed to 30\,000 local health workers. \nResponse measures include: \nProviding information on COVID-19 prevention to 11\,500 people through home visits from trained community health workers. \nStrengthening health facilities treating COVID-19 patients by providing face masks\, hand sanitizer\, soap\, blankets\, mosquito nets and mats \nDistributing hygiene kits and providing nutritional support for vulnerable families. \nProviding personal protective equipment to defense forces on the border. \nCollaborating with other humanitarian organizations to advocate for the protection of children’s rights throughout the COVID-19 response \nShare
